Family law might literally be in Jackie Jasper’s blood. Adopted herself at a young age, she felt an
immediate connection the moment she interviewed with Indigo Family Law—a firm known for
handling adoptions and led by a founding partner who is herself the proud mother of six adopted
children. Sometimes life just makes sense.
Jackie’s journey to Myrtle Beach has been anything but straightforward. Her path has taken her
from Washington state to New Jersey, down to Florida, up to Coastal Carolina, and across the
world to South Korea for a semester at Korea University in Seoul. She then returned to Coastal
Carolina. Think about the wealth of experience all those places, cultures, and conversations bring
with them. In short, Jackie can talk to anyone, anytime—a skill that makes her a natural fit for
Indigo Family Law and the diverse clients it serves.
Jackie’s exceptional people skills were further honed over several years working as a server and
hostess at various restaurants across Myrtle Beach. There may be no better training ground for
someone venturing into family law—learning to navigate different personalities, diffuse tense
situations, and maintain composure under pressure.
Jackie is currently completing her Paralegal Studies Certificate at the University of South
Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Coastal Carolina University. Her strong
background in legal research and writing, case management, and professional communication
ensures clients always feel heard, understood, and supported.
In her off-time, Jackie is often pulled around the beaches by her [overly] enthusiastic lab-pit-bull
mix, Luna. She journals regularly, dives deep into video games—especially Call of Duty—and
can happily binge-watch any show worth binge-watching (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are
perennial favorites).
Jackie’s open-mindedness, genuine empathy, and communication skills, combined with her
personal connection to family law, make her exactly the kind of advocate clients need.
