Nicole’s connection to Indigo Family Law runs deeper than most—because long before she
ever interned with the firm, she was already part of its story.
Years ago, Brana Williams and the team at Indigo helped process Nicole’s adoption. For her,
family law wasn’t just a field of study—it was a daily reality. That experience gave her a rare
insight into what family law really means, especially for children whose futures are shaped by
the process.
When Nicole, then a junior at Coastal Carolina University, began looking for an internship, and
Brana happened to speak at her school—things came full circle. Indigo hadn’t offered internships
before, but that quickly changed. Nicole wasn’t just a great fit—she already felt like family.
Nicole has a double major in Criminal Justice and Philosophy and is working toward her
paralegal certification. At Indigo, she assists with drafting legal documents, preparing trial
evidence, and providing essential support across the firm. But her true passion is giving voice to
children—something she carries with her in every task, every interaction, every case.
When she’s not at the office, Nicole’s a voracious reader of thrillers and an avid story-based
gamer. She’s also a writer with a long-term goal of publishing her own novel. And while Indigo
may be known for its office dogs, Nicole proudly breaks the mold with her black cat, Nova.
